In this video, I discuss how some fears have been realized for folks in the Havana Syndrome community.
I have received internal government documents which show that the Cross-Functional Team (CFT) which has been supporting them, is being relocated to the Defense Department’s Research and Engineering (R&E) — effective immediately.
One government official said in a document that this is “a strategic effort to strengthen scientific governance, enhance technical rigor, and ensure long-term stability of research and interagency coordination supporting the AHI mission.”
But a former CIA operations officer who goes by the name of Adam tells me, “No one has any faith in R&E… They just want a weapons system. They want to research it, develop it, create new ones, then put it on the shelf. That’s what R&E does.” (I first reported that the U.S. government is indeed testing a device.)
R&E’s official webpage describes “technology development and transition, developmental prototyping, experimentation, and administration of testing ranges and activities.”
The government documents admit there will be “staffing adjustments,” and that has left some people concerned about who will go and will remain.
I’m told there had been meetings and pushes to relocate the CFT to Special Operations Low Intensity Conflict. CBS News reported that two senators had expresed concern that the CFT would be sidelined, writing a letter to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
The Pentagon did not respond to my request for comment. More information in the video.
